Work, Day Five
There's nothing right when you catch a cold, especially a nasty, cloggy one. It sucks, one hundred percent. It sucks more if you have to work with a cold. And it sucks even more if you have a cold in an air-con environment (like here at Ramcar).
Sucky guy = John.
It bites. Every thirty minutes or so, I have to go to the restroom to extract the vile sludge, wash, then take a trip to the canteen to grab water (yes, I'm undergoing water treatment for this cold).
Oh well, at least we have free internet here. FREE! However, it gets cut off once in a while. Why? I don't know. Maybe the internet server here has a nasty sharing theme (cut, connect, cut, connect, repeat). Therefore, no YM, no decent net surfing, and, well, more boredom.
I guess that I got to be the studious guy in the team. My teammates Jed and JL are, well, not so studious. They prefer the action part over the theorhetics. Well, me too, but I need to read to know what to do when the action comes along. Recalling St. Luke's, I kept on reading and reading and reading - enough reading, I guess, to proclaim myself as a geek. Well... I'm not a geek. I'M NOT A GEEK!!!
Heck... I hope this cold goes away sooner. I want to see my hunniekins... I wanna see Katrina!!! Haven't seen her in two days. Missing her or not, however, I don't want her to catch my cold.
Sucky guy = John.
I hope the rainy season passes by sooner. Let the "I-don't-wanna-go-to-school" crybabies whine.
I just remembered... IBM gave me a call yesterday asking if I were to be scheduled for an interview tomorrow. I mentioned to them that I cannot due to my current employment status. I guess I passed their test...
