First Few Days
I just started working for Ramcar 2 days ago (June 2, 2004). Finally, I got a job. Sooner or later, I'll also be getting a laptop (catch: going to be amortized from salary) as a job requirement.
Job description: SAP Consultant Trainee.
It's the job I got from IESC (Integrated Enterprise Solutions Co.), the SAP Consulting arm of Ramcar. I got six (6) months to prove myself worthy (with pay). If I pass, I'll make it to the team and sign for three (3) years. Fail, well, out.
By day two, I brought a backpack to work. At the end of day one, I've been given two books related to SAP. By yesterday evening, I was taking home three (just like a schoolboy). It kinda feels like OJT again; like that in St. Luke's, only with pay.
Working hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Originally, it should have been something like 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays PLUS 9 a.m. to 12 n.n. on Saturdays, but Ramcar decided to squeeze in the Saturdays to the weekdays (to save gas and energy, I suppose).
So there... a new life coming up...
